Speck, Geraldine “June” G. (Anderson), 100, Mapleton, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia. Born August 11, 1925, Mapleton, daughter of the late Robert and Viola (Buchanan) Anderson. Mrs. Speck was married to Wilfred Speck who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by daughter, Linda Brumbaugh; brothers, Marcus Anderson, Vern Anderson, Donald Anderson, and Bobby Anderson. Geraldine is survived by grandson, Wayne (Carole) Brumbaugh, of Midlothian VA; granddaughter, Lisa (Les) Horner of State College; great-grandson, Richard (Tabatha) Brumbaugh of Hampton VA; great-granddaughters, Hannah Brumbaugh of Midlothian VA, Rebekah Horner of State College. Geraldine graduated from Captain Jack High School in 1943 and then was self-employed as a Hairdresser at her own salon. Geraldine was a member of the Trinity UMC, Mapleton. She was also a member of Eastern Star and Amaranth. A Celebration of life ceremony is being planned for a later date in January 2026. A private burial will be held at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Mapleton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
