Geraldine Carolyn (Kahlden) Ulbricht peacefully passed from this life on September 14, 2024 in Arlington, Texas after a brief illness.
The visitation for family and friends will take place at 10:00 A.M with a Recitation of the Rosary af 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church in 
Weimar, TX at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 19, 2024, followed by the Rite of Committal at St. Michael's Cemetery, 
Weimar, TX.
Geraldine was born on July 20, 1935 to Emil and Meta Kahlden in 
Weimar, Texas. She grew up happily and simply across the street from St. Michael's Catholic Church. After graduating from Weimar High School in 1954, she began working as a telephone operator in Weimar before moving to Houston, continuing her employment with the telephone company. On August 27, 1960, she married Nolan Ulbricht at St. Michael's in Weimar and they made their home in the Spring Branch area of Houston, where they were founding members of St. Jerome Catholic Church. They had a son, Mark, and two daughters, Carol and Nancy. She was a homemaker and caregiver, later working for the Spring Branch Independent School District for a number of years. She and Nolan retired to Montgomery, Texas where they were active in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville.
Geraldine enjoyed camping with her young family and traveling with Nolan, including visiting their children and grandchildren across the United States and even around the world. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting her entire life. After Nolan's death, she moved to Arlington, TX to be near her daughter Carol.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Nolan, and her son Mark, as well as her brother Franklin Kahlden, her sister and brother-in-law Gladys and Johnny Guenther; sister-in-law JaNell Kahlden, brother-in-law J. C. Mozisek; brother-in-law and wife Franklin and Laverne Ulbricht; and brother-in-law Daniel Ulbricht.
She is survived by daughter Carol and husband Michael Ross of Arlington, TX; daughter Nancy and husband Joe Cowan of Bellingham, WA; grandchildren Madeline (Ross) and husband Greg O'Bryan of Grand Prairie, TX; Natalie Ross of Dayton, Ohio; Matthew Ross of Munich, Germany; Terra Ulbricht and wife Jessie of Redlands, CA; and David Ulbricht of Jacksonville, FL; great-grandchildren Connor, Molly, and John O'Bryan of Grand Prairie, TX; her brother Elliot Kahlden, sister Waldine Mozisek, and sister-in-law Bernice Ulbricht, all of Weimar, and many nieces and nephews.
