Geralynn was an active and caring woman who spent most of her life thinking about others. She always surrounded herself with her friends and family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved.  She met her husband Scott in New York and they fell in love instantly and knew they both shared a love for family and decided to start their own.

As a mother, Geralynn was generous, loving and kind. She had a way to light up the room and make you feel special and loved. She spoiled her kids and grandson as much as she possibly could. In her free time, Geralynn loved to go on long walks, play tennis or pickleball and check out new restaurants. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family, who adore her with all their hearts.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, 9th of February 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation, Mount Pleasant, 1520 Rifle Range Rd. Mount Pleasant, South Carolina 29464.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Christ our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive, Mt. Pleasant 29464, Friday, February 10th at 10:30 am.

Entombment will follow at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464

I am devastated at the loss of such a kind gentle person. I enjoyed the long walks we had through the neighborhood and occasional beach outings. Geri was so proud of Ryan and Jaymee and we shared stories with each other. The world is definitely emptier without her. My thoughts are with Scott, Ryan and Jaymee. May all of your memories be a blessing and I wish you strength and love always!

Geralyn was one of my closest friends. She was so kind and considerate of everyone´s feelings. When my son went on his honeymoon she knew I spoke to him every morning while driving to work. So Geralyn called me every morning the same time my son did for 2 weeks while he was away so I wouldn´t be sad. Playing tennis and of course lunch after was Geralyns favorites and of squeezing shopping in then it was a great day . I´m so heartbroken life will never be the same without her

Sweet, caring, beautiful, always fashionable Geralynn. I was missing you when you left NJ and now will miss you forever. I´m so glad you came to surprise your "tennis bffs" on our little getaway this fall. Little did we know how much we would cherish the memories of that special girls´ trip. I am so thankful to have met you through Kim, Kristi and Bonnie and will treasure all the fun times we have spent together. I will always see your great smile & hear your laughter when I think of you, which will be often. Much love to your family. Rest in peace, my friend
