Geralynn "Gerri" Muenchausen (born McDonald) passed away peacefully on August 22 at the age of 90 in Port Charlotte, FL.
Geralynn was born in Chicago, IL and lived most of her life in Grayslake, IL until moving to Punta Gorda, FL some 20+ years ago to enjoy her golden years. She eventually moved to Port Charlotte, FL.
Geralynn is survived by three children - Denise (Dan), Mary (John) and Jeff (Sue) and her brother, Robert. She was a loving grandmother to fourgrandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She will be reunited in Heaven with her two sons, Steven and Larry, and her parents and special cousins.
Geralynn enjoyed spending time with family, reading a good book, playing cards and listening to Elvis Presley music all day. We will always cherish in our hearts the memories we made with her, and she will be deeply missed by all of her family.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, you may consider a donation to the Tidewell Foundation for their hospice program. See following link to the organization. https://tidewellfoundation.org/about-us/
