Gerard Giles Cruz Guevara

Gerard Giles Cruz Guevara, born on December 3, 1967 in Guam, was considered by his family to be an angel on earth. Despite the medical challenges he faced from birth, Gerard was a constant ray of sunshine to those around him.

All who knew Gerard loved him for his gentle spirit, his warm smile, and his love for airplanes. He was a true gift to his family and will forever be missed and lovingly remembered as a devoted son, brother, uncle, and nephew.

Gerard passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family on January 10, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Teresita Cruz Guevara and Juan Gogo Guevara, and by his sisters Antoinette Therese Cruz Guevara Idolor (Ed Idolor) and Cecilia Marie Cruz Guevara. He is survived by his loving siblings: Catherine Leon Guerrero, Jesse John Cruz Guevara, Priscilla Ann Cruz Guevara Mesa, Teresita Francis Cruz Guevara Smith (Daniel Smith), Anthony Franklin Cruz Guevara, Gregory Joseph Cruz Guevara, Mary Cruz Guevara Cruz (David Cruz), Ricky David Cruz Guevara (Therese Atoigue Guevara), and Edelesa Jeanette Cruz Guevara Cepeda (Michael Cepeda).

Gerard had no children, but he was deeply loved by his many nieces and nephews and by all who were blessed to know him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family forever.
