Gerard Kolling Obituary
He was born on Jan. 13, 1940.
He was the beloved husband for 58 years to Mary Kolling; the loving father of Stacy Johns (Greg), and Danielle Kolling; and the grandfather of Christopher Friedman, Tyler Johns and Hannah Gigler.
Jerry was known and loved for his sense of humor, easy smile, and willingness to listen. He welcomed the opportunity to talk with others, even if their opinions differed from his own. No matter what the subject, he loved good conversation. He also loved music, had a great singing voice, and would encourage his family to sing with him. Jerry was also a man of faith which was a great comfort to him in his later years.
He will be lovingly remembered by family and friends for his sharp wit and mischievous smile that usually preceded a hysterical one liner.
KOLLING - Per his wishes, there will not be a public viewing or memorial service for Gerard "Jerry" Kolling, who died Monday, Feb. 20, 2023.
If you wish to honor his memory, gather with friends for good conversation and laughter and remember him fondly.
Arrangements are under the direction of PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES in Pittsburgh.
