Gerard (Jerry) Paul LaMontagne (81) passed away peacefully on the morning of February 18th, 2025. He was surrounded by his family and friends. Jerry leaves the earth to watch over his wife, Carol (Lewin), and his three daughters and their spouses; Lisa and Matthew Beausoleil, Amy and Missi Werner, Keri and Michael Croteau, and his five grandchildren; Riley, Simi, Bradley, Cali and Rowan. He joins his parents Roland and Beatrice (Santerre) LaMontagne, and brothers Reverand L. Bernard LaMontagne and Donald LaMontagne.
Jerry grew up in Central Falls and moved to Lincoln. He attended Central Falls High School where he made life-long friends. He proudly joined the US Army in1965 and served until 1969 receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1971. He returned to marry his high school sweetheart, Carol, on October 4th, 1969. They raised their three children happily in Lincoln and enjoyed summers at MacColl Field YMCA. Most recently, he and Carol bought a second 'family' home in East Matunuck, RI ("the Beachhouse") where they enjoyed many hot summer days, Thanksgivings and many holidays and birthday celebrations.
Jerry was a proud member of the Carpenters Union for many years. He worked alongside Carol in their business LaMontagne Real Estate managing finances and business operations.
Jerry was the most kind and generous man. He had a passion for his family, his faith and for helping others. He always left a door open to anyone who needed help. He loved his family deeply and was proud of the life he lived. He made many memories that will live forever if the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed.

Gerry was our neighbor and was always kind and funny. Gerry always asked how my kids were and took an interest in what they were doing, and his kindness was always evident. May he rest in peace, and peace to Carol, his daughters and his entire family.
