Gerardo Lopez, 53, entered into eternal rest on September 26, 2023 in Colorado Springs, CO. Gerardo is preceded in death by his loving mother, Esperanza Gandarilla Lopez. He is survived by his loving wife, Graciela Mendoza Lopez; sons, Arturo Mendoza, and Juan Perez; daughters, Julie Anne Lopez, and Marissabel Lopez; father, Salvador Lopez; brother; Ricardo Lopez, sister, Melissa Lopez; grandchildren, Andrea Mendoza, Adriel Mendoza, Alexander Mendoza, Melody Perez, and Elijah Perez; nephews and nieces, Andrew Lopez, Albert Lopez, Brenda Lopez, Marco Ramirez, Heriberto Ramirez Jr, Zoey & Eli Lopez.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service starting at 6:00 PM and Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home - Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, Texas 79907. A Celebration of life will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Saint's Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 673 Old Hueco Tanks Rd., El Paso, TX 79927. A Graveside will follow at 11:30 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907.
