Gerry Askea Obituary
A Funeral service will be 2 PM Friday, January 3, 2024 in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Clarence Howard and Rev. Larry Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.
Born in Verryville, Arkanas, Mrs. Askea lived in Cobb County for 64 years. She was a Homemaker and preceded in death by her Husband- Billy Askea in 2020.
Survivors include: Son and Daughter in Law- Steve and Lynn Askea of Marietta, Daughter- Sara M. Harris of Marietta, Daughter and Son in Law- Pam E. and Dan Duncan of Louisa, Virginia, 2 Sisters- Mary Tarrant and Joyce Cox both of Dallas, 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, January, 2, 2024 at the Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta, www.carmichaelcares.com, 770-424-4924.
