Gerry Winston Obituary
Gerry Lionel Winston Sr. Graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1977. At 18, he went on to serve in three branches of the military. His travels within the military took him worldwide including Desert Storm, Saudi Arabia, Japan, The Philippines, Australia, and many other countries. He served in the Marines, The Army Reserves, and the National Guards. He retired and became a Deputy Sheriff while taking Criminal Justice and Law courses and continued to master courses until he was 60 years old. He then married Doris Hill Winston in 1978 which led to the creation of Banika Winston-Wade, Gerry Lionel Winston Jr, and Lenia Powell Winston. And a host of grandchildren such as Dereck Wade, Dedreck Wade, Gerry Winston, Delasreck Wade, Derenika Wade, Ga'naisa Winston, Gerron Winston, Gerrod Winston, Tabais Pitchford, Treasure Pitchford, Deariko Mcclinton, Giselle Winston.
Dereck Wade, his oldest grandchild has a host of children, Dereck Wade Jr, Jayceon Wade, Samir Wade, Khalil Wade, and Kali Wade. Dedreck Wade, his second oldest, has a host of children, Mahki Wade, Evani Wade, Rashad Wade, Ralo Wade, Mazi Wade, and Golden Wade.
Gerry Lionel Winston also has a host of nieces & nephews Such as Kwan Winston, Damone Brad ley, Levon Bradley, Greg Penn, Shelly Penn, and Duke Penn.
