Writing to share condolences has taken some time because of the shock and words difficult to come by. Thirty-five plus years ago, Jo and I met at a mutual friend's event. We connected immediately, exchanged numbers, and rarely a day passed that we didn't communicate in some way. Our friendship was one of true sisterhood; it was encouraging, supportive and full of laughter. I will miss her dearly. and am sad the plans we made didn't materialize but resting in paradise is the greater reward. I pray the family and other loved ones find comfort and strength as they navigate their grief. May it be lessened by the love and memories shared. God bless them all.
