GianCarlo Maldonado, age 25, passed away on January 26, 2024. Born on September 12, 1998, in Cleveland, Ohio, GianCarlo brought immense joy and love into the lives of his family and friends. He was the cherished son of Carlos Maldonado Jr. and Claribel Badea, and the beloved brother of Carlos Maldonado III, Ashley Maldonado, Dinah Maldonado, and Lie-Sandra Maldonado. GianCarlo held a special place in the hearts of his nieces and nephews, Leilani Millsaps, James Millsaps, Amillian Rosario, and Jaxsyn Spicel, who adored him dearly.
GianCarlo's passion for music was evident in his life's pursuits. He dedicated himself to the art of percussion, weaving rhythmic melodies that resonated with those fortunate enough to hear his talent. Beyond his musical endeavors, GianCarlo was a beacon of light within his community. As the community service leader with the New Era Young Lords Organization, he tirelessly worked to uplift those around him, leaving an indelible mark of compassion and kindness.
Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111, where additional visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
