Gianfranco Andreotti

Gianfranco Andreotti, age 68 of Palisades Park, formerly of Astoria Queens, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Monday July 22, 2024. Born in Vagli Sopra, Tuscany, Italy he immigrated to the United States in 1960. Frank was a Mechanic by trade and worked for The New York City Department of Sanitation. He promptly and un-selfishly responded to The World Trade Center on 9/11 and was part of the search and rescue team.
Beloved husband of 40 years to Teresa (Filipello). Devoted father of Justine Rice and her husband Joseph and Frankie Andreotti. Cherished son of Franca Andreotti and the late Francesco Andreotti. Dear brother of Daniel and his wife Lisa, Angelo and his wife Theresa, and Mario and his wife Lisa.
The family will receive their friends on Sunday 2-6 pm at the Frank Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home. The funeral will leave on Monday at 9:30 am for the celebration of his funeral mass in St. Michael's RC Church at 10 am. For more information call (201) 944-0100.
