Gianni Kosmas Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hewett - Arney Funeral Home on Dec. 16, 2024.
Gianni James Kosmas, age 18 months, of Harker Heights, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Mclanes Childrens Hospital in Temple, TX. He was born on June 13, 2023 to parents Danielle and Zachary Kosmas. His early departure from this world will leave a hole in the hearts of all, but we know he is with the angels in Heaven resting in peace.
During his short time his smile brought joy every day to his loved ones and friends. Gianni was full of life and spent his time playing basketball with his siblings and always had his soccer ball. His biggest accomplishment was his ability to jump and brought joy to his family members watching those proud moments. He was very fond of music, dancing and his soft CareBear pajamas. One of the many memories was the fact that he loved food, his family often joked that he could eat 5 meals before lunch. His loving smile and infectious laughter will be missed everyday now that he has departed far too early, but the strength of family and friends will hopefully help fill the void and help all get through this sad time.
He is preceded in death by great-grandmothers Janet Andersen and Velva Ross.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Danielle Kosmas and Zachary Chand of Harker Heights and Zachary Kosmas of Temple. Gianni also had a large family of siblings; Noah, Emma, Morgan, Benjamin, Deiken, Olivia, Aiden, Dylan Kai, Ava, Yzekiel, Elijah, Ellyana and Ira. His grandparents Terry Kosmas, Julie (Paul) Gastelum, Sherry Berndt and Timothy (Joyce) Ross, and great-grandfather Rodney Andersen. There can be only time to ease the pain of his passing but knowing his love and happiness while he was here is a comforting memory and his love will still be felt in all the hearts of the family he leaves behind.
There will be a private family service, any condolences can be sent to family home in Harker Heights.
Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple has been entrusted with the care of all arrangements.
