Gilbert M "Sparkey" Bellefeuille

Gilbert "Sparkey" M. Bellefeuille, age 85, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully at home on September 21, 2022.
Sparkey led and enjoyed a simple life. A man of hard work, he was a dedicated 3M employee of 30 years, up until his retirement - but the work didn't end there. He was what one would call a "Jack of All Trades", keeping busy doing carpentry, roofing and woodworking projects, and spending many days in his son's welding shop. Between jobs he appreciated time outside, hunting and fishing.
Above all else, he greatly loved his kids and grandkids.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, of 63 years, Karen; children, Scott (Mary) Bellefeuille and Kelly (Tim) Schmidt; grandchildren, Kate (Mike), Connor (Annie), Molly, Caleb (Savannah) and Mark (Tinille); great-grandchildren, Brynlee and Emma; brother, Donnie; and many other nieces, nephews, and loving family members.
Sparkey is preceded in death by his parents, Gillis and Mary Bellefeuille; brothers, Marcy and John; and sister, Marian.
A private family service was held.
Skinner Funeral Home of Cumberland is serving the family.
