Tim Lundmark Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Skinner Funeral Home - Cumberland on Feb. 4, 2026.
Tim Douglas Lundmark, 70, passed away peacefully at his home on February 3, 2026. Tim was born on February 14, 1955, to Lee and Ann Lundmark in Cumberland, Wisconsin. He was the middle of three children, growing up alongside his older brother Terry and younger sister Nancy on the family farm along Highway 48. From an early age, Tim learned the value of hard work, family, and the outdoors.

Tim took over the family farm where he farmed until 2004. That same year, he and his wife Peggy built their home on Snowshoe Lake, a place that became the heart of family gatherings and outdoor memories. After leaving the farm, Tim continued his strong work ethic through his careers with Monsanto and Doboy, and later by selling corn and soybean seed to local farmers.

Tim and Peggy shared 49 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and companionship. They enjoyed traveling to Brewers games, spending time with friends over meals and card games, and vacationing together. Tim was a proud life member of both the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) and the National Rifle Association (NRA). Above all else, Tim and Peggy treasured time with their children and grandchildren, whether hosting them at home or cheering them on as devoted fans at countless sporting events, school concerts, and parades, enough to keep the calendar in their office perpetually full.

Tim was happiest outdoors. He could often be found golfing, checking trail cameras, mowing his lawn with meticulous attention to perfect stripes, snowplowing, working food plots with his tractor, or preparing for his next hunt. A passionate hunter, Tim traveled to numerous states in pursuit of elk, dall sheep, antelope, whitetail, and mule deer, experiences that blended his love of nature, adventure, and storytelling.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Ann Lundmark.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Peggy Lundmark; his children, Chad (Staci) Lundmark, Traci Lundmark, and Kelly (Greg) Lundquist; and his cherished grandchildren, Jared, Ryan, Blake, Hadley, Knox, and Chloe. He is also survived by his brother, Terry (Dona) Lundmark; his sister, Nancy (Bruce) Randall; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Tim's life was one defined by dedication-to his family, his work, and the land he loved-and his legacy will live on through the values instilled in his children and grandchildren for generations to come.

Visitation from 4-6 p.m. will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the First Lutheran Church in Cumberland, Wisconsin. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at First Lutheran Church in Cumberland, Wisconsin, with Pastor Tim Schmidt officiating. There will be a visitation an hour before the service with a meal to follow.
