Gilbert Levario Gochicoa of Pecos, passed away on August 20, 2025. He was born on September 1, 1944 in Pecos Texas to Alberto Gochicoa and Alta Gracia Levario Gochicoa.
He was an Army veteran and he worked for Compressor Systems Inc. for over 20 years and was a skilled carpenter by trade.
Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents Alberto and Altagracia Levario Gochicoa, and by his brothers, Johnny, Jesus “Chuchi”, Jose, Jorge and Alberto “Chino” Gochicoa.
He is survived by Teresa Gochicoa, and their 3 children, Frankie Gochicoa, Margo Gochicoa and Anne and Joe Torres. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Victor Gochicoa, Joe Andrew Torres, and Oscar and Samantha Torres, along with 6 great-grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by brothers and sisters, Virginia Natividad, Natividad Abila, Mary and Roy Pena, Ramona and Ernesto Galindo, William Gochicoa, Juanita Trevino, Peter Gochicoa and Carmen and Edward Palomino.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all our loved ones, family and friends for their prayers, love and support throughout this difficult time. Special thanks are also given to PCMH Hospice for their guidance and compassionate care.
Visitation will be held at Pecos Funeral Home on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 10 am followed by service at 2 pm.
