It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, Gilbert Juarbe, who entered eternal rest peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, June 29th, 2024. Born on May 8th, 1972, to his loving parents, Gilbert Juarbe and Norma Iris Quintero Juarbe, "Pito," as we lovingly called him, brought joy and love to all who knew him.
Pito's love for sports was unmatched. He was a die-hard fan of the NY Yankees, NY Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals, and NY Knicks, always found cheering on his teams with unyielding enthusiasm. When not engrossed in sports, he enjoyed walking his best buddy, his dog Zhuzhu. A daily ritual that brought him comfort was eating Farina, lovingly prepared by his mom.
Pito was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Antonio Quintero, Josephine Quintero, and Eugenio Mercado (Poldo), as well as his paternal grandparents, Javier Juarbe and Amelia Crespo.
He leaves behind his cherished parents, Norma and Gilbert Juarbe, and his devoted siblings: Jeannie Vega, Michael Juarbe, Javi Juarbe, Cristina Juarbe, and Miningi. His sister-in-law, Corey Parady, also shares in our sorrow. Pito's love extended to his nephews, Austin Vega, Justin Vega, and Tyler Parady, and his beautiful nieces, Rachel and Destiny. His girlfriend, Ada Delgado, who brought so much happiness and promise of a future together, mourns his loss deeply. Above all, Pito's most prized possession, his daughter Sapphyre Tei'erra Juarbe, whom he loved to the moon and back, remains his enduring legacy.
We will miss him greatly. His smile was infectious, and he possessed a genuine heart, always sincere and kind to all. Pito's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and all who loved him.
Rest in peace, Pito. You will be forever missed and eternally loved.
Friends may greet the family on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Community Funeral Chapels. 798 Park Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604. TEL: (203) 334-9999. Interment will be held privately.
