Gilbert Jim Tutterrow

Gilbert B. "Jim" Tutterrow, 79 of Lexington, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on August 27, 1943 in London, Tennessee, to the late Gilbert Tutterrow and Juanita (Coffelt) Tutterrow. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, was in the United States Navy and worked for Tri-Hawk Automotive. Jim and his wife trained German Shepherds. He enjoyed bowling, watching old westerns, and loved his family and his dog, Bear. He married Cheri (Hurt) Tutterrow, who preceded him in death in 2021. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Tutterrow and one brother, Charles William Tutterrow. He is survived by his three sisters, Debbie (John) Maples of Martinsville, Indiana, Grace Bavender of Hagerstown, Indiana, and Barbara Gaffney of Indianapolis, Indiana; two granddaughters, Amanda (Shannon) Donohue of Austin, Indiana and Autumn (Angel) Tutterrow of Scottsburg, Indiana; one brother in law, Wayne (Julie) Hurt of Louisville, Kentucky; three great grandchildren, Isaac, Jordan, and Layne Donohue; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held this Saturday July 22, 2023 at Emmanuel Baptist Church from 1pm to 4pm. Cremation services have been entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
