Gilbert Reed Webb, 91, of Waynesburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Liberty Care & Rehab.
He was born in Eubank, Kentucky on August 8, 1933; son of the late Ernest & Opal (Vanover) Webb. He was retired Co-Owner of Webb's Garage and Wrecker Service, and a US Navy Veteran. He enjoyed traveling to Canada annually to hunt, and was proud of his Moose that he was able to bag. He also enjoyed fishing and bee keeping. He was a driven worker as well.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda & (Jon) Venoy; a son, Carl Webb; siblings, , Bobby Webb, Byron Webb, Perry Webb, June Todd, Joyce Ard, Lynn Webb, and Debbie Blevins; one grandchild, Kalen Maxwell; and one great-grandchild, Hadley Grace.
He was preceded in death by wife, Shelby Noe Webb; a son, Scott Webb; two grandchildren, Tyler Venoy and Joshua Webb; siblings, Walton Webb, Vilas Webb Jacqueline Webb, Virginia Webb, and Emogene Mayfield.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Gambrel officiating.
Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 11 AM Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
