It was always a warm and welcoming feeling to walk through the doors of that house to the smell of freshly made barbecue and big hugs for Marina and I from her grandpa. We always had so many laughs and lots of fun there. It´s a sad time for everyone mourning the loss of a very strong and prideful man, but I am comforted with all of the good times we got to share with each other. There was so much love there. It wasn´t a very long time I got to know him, but I am honored to have been a part of his life those few years. May peace be with him, and with us all, as we move forward into the future together.

I miss him so much. He has been there for me since I was born. I have so many happy memories of him that I will cherish forever. We went on vacations and always had a great time. He loved always being around his family. He was always so happy and I will miss his smile and his bright outlook on life. I love you, grandpa and I will carry you with me always

Will miss his smile and laughter at all our family gatherings. Allen and I made many wonderful trips with him and my sister Mary. Thank you Gilbert for being part of our family. May you rest in peace. God bless you always.
