It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gina Edmond, born on December 19, 1975, in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, and peacefully passing away on September 26, 2023, in New York, New York. Gina is survived by her loving partner Marc, beloved daughter Brianna, her cherished brothers Lesly and Wesly, and her dear mother Anne Mercie. She is preceded in death by her father, Lucius.
Gina dedicated 22 years of her life to a fulfilling career at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Her journey within the hospital showcased her unwavering dedication to the well-being of others, a true testament to her compassionate and caring nature. Gina found joy in her work and was a beacon of support for those she served.
Her love for music, the joy of dancing, and the pleasures of good food enriched her life. Yet, Gina's proudest accomplishment was being a devoted mother to Brianna. The love they shared was a beautiful bond that brought immense joy and fulfillment to her life.
Although Gina's passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot express, we find solace in knowing she has found peace with the Lord. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved and cherished her. Gina will be deeply missed, and her legacy of love and dedication will continue to inspire us all.
