In Loving Memory of Frank Thomas Edmond
September 4, 1962 - October 20, 2025
Memorial service for Frank Thomas Edmond, of Lettsworth will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 beginning at 11:00 am in the Lower Latanache Baptist Church in Batchelor with Reverend Davey Kelone officiating.
Frank Thomas Edmond, a devoted son, proud veteran, and true outdoorsman, passed away at his house at 63.
There are some people who leave this world a little kinder, a little softer, and a whole lot better just by being in it. Frank was one of those people.
He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back and never expect anything in return. Always willing to help, always putting others before himself- that was just who he was. His heart was of pure gold, and his love for his family, friends, and the simple things in life, ran deep.
Frank loved being outdoors. Whether he was hunting, or fishing, that's where he was the happiest. He especially enjoyed sharing that love with his nieces and nephews, teaching them the ropes, telling stories, and making memories that would last a lifetime.
He proudly served his country as an Air Force veteran, where he was an Aircrew life support specialist. Carrying that same strength, loyalty, and sense of duty into everything he did.
But more than anything, Frank was an incredible son- one any parent would be proud to call their own. He loved fiercely, laughed easily, and had a way of making everyone around him feel seen and cared for.
Our hearts are broken, but we take comfort in knowing he's found peace -maybe sitting on a riverbank somewhere with his nephew Blake, watching the sun rise, with a couple of fishing poles, waiting on that perfect catch.
He will be missed more than words can ever say, but his love, his laughter, and his spirit will live on in everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
Frank is survived by his parents, John and Astrid Edmond; his siblings, Debbie Cazayoux and husband Kevin, Teresa McDempsey and husband Mike, John Bryan Edmond and Amy McDaniel and husband Corey. He also leaves behind multiple nieces and nephews who adored him. Also left to cherish his memory are special friends Wayne Bordelon, Donnovon and Melissa Bordelon and Debbie Stout, who were like family to him. Frank is preceded in death by his beloved nephew, Blake Buvens Prevot.
