Life Reflections of Peter Sampson III

Peter Sampson III was born on October 20, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Peter Sampson Jr. and Geraldine Kirk-Hughes. He was the second child in his family, with two biological siblings: LaJuan T. Hughes, the eldest son, and Larry Sampson, the youngest. However, Peter would always correct anyone who failed to mention his sister, Dulce Mendoza. Dulce is the daughter of one of Peter's mother figures, Estella Mendoza, and their bond was strong as if they were blood-related. Peter accepted Christ at an early age and attended various churches of multiple denominations, including Baptist and Catholic Churches, during his last days Peter attended the Jehovah Witness congregation. His wish was to become a Jehovah Witness.

Peter graduated from Grambling State University with a degree in criminal justice, after graduating Peter found his calling as a medical technician, working with patients who had behavioral needs. In this role, he demonstrated his kind heart by helping his patients and making a positive impact on their lives.

Peter was very loving and protective. He always went out of his way to help others, reassuring them that as long as he was there, they would not be alone.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son who he leaves to carry on his memory, Jarrell Sampson, who was born in 2007 to his mother, Sharell Henry who Peter loved dearly. In his spare time Peter was a die-hard Eagles fan & in his younger days when all kids loved Allen Iverson. Peter loved Dikembe Mutombo further acknowledging he always did his own thing.

Peter will forever be missed by his father Peter Sampson Jr. and his siblings. Fondly missed by his Grandmother, Carrie Kirk; Greatly missed by his Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, and special friends.

As he makes his way home to reunite with his loved ones who have already passed on, he will be greeted with open arms by his loving mother, Geraldine Kirk Hughes Sampson; his Grandfather, Peter Sampson Sr.; Grandfather, Sam G. Kirk; Grandmother, Genevieve Sampson, and the love of his life, Sharell Henry.

Peter surely want us to know that he will always be with us in the memories and stories we hold dear in our hearts.
