Ginette Moise-known lovingly to all as "Joujou," passed away peacefully at the age of 60, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and irresistible joy. Born on June 15, 1965, in the vibrant country of Haiti, Ginette was the cherished daughter of Idenne Moise and the late Rodier Moise. Since a child, Joujou inherited a spirit of resilience and compassion and this would define her character. Her siblings- Murielle St.Paul, Evelyne Buteau, Claude Moise, May Moise, Garry Louis, Rose Bazile, and Aliette Jean-Claude remember Joujou as a guiding light, a sister whose advice, care, and love knew no bounds.

Growing up, Joujou shined brightly on the soccer field. She was a remarkably talented player who had the opportunity to play in various places and earned love and appreciation from her teammates. Her move to the United States in 1985 marked a new chapter in her life, as she embraced new opportunities with open arms and an unwavering determination. Joujou lived a life flavored with beauty, intention, and love. She cherished the finer things, not for grandeur, but because she believed that life's moments deserved to be savored. This belief carried her all the way to Paris, where she trained as a culinary chef. There, she cultivated not only her remarkable talent, but a philosophy that food is a language of love-one she spoke fluently.

Though beloved by many, her greatest devotion was to her son Bryant Joseph. As a mother, Joujou poured her entire heart into raising him with love, care, and unwavering dedication. He was the pride of her life, and the person she nurtured with every ounce of strength and tenderness she possessed. Though she had only one son, her heart had room for countless others. To her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, she was a second mother-steady, nurturing, and endlessly affectionate. They will forever miss the way she made them feel seen, loved, and cherished.

Her generosity was endless and effortless. Whether sharing her culinary gifts, offering guidance, or simply opening her arms for a much-needed embrace, Joujou gave everything she had. She lived as though kindness was the most natural way to move through the world-and for her, it truly was. Her meals were unforgettable: rich, comforting, crafted with precision and heart. Anyone fortunate enough to be welcomed into her home knew the experience well-fine china set with care, the warm glow of hospitality, and dishes so delicious they lingered in memory long after the last bite. Joujou didn't just fill plates; she filled hearts. Guests always left her table with stomachs satisfied and hearts overflowing.

On September 16, 2003, Joujou dedicated her life to Jehovah in baptism. She loved the preaching work and after spending a whole day in service she would say, "You can do so much in a day." Her Bible students saw her more than just a teacher, they saw her as their own loving, affectionate "Spiritual Mom."

Joujou leaves behind her beloved mother, whom she adored deeply and with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. A bond so special that her mother called Joujou her "Sweet daughter." Their relationship was one of profound affection, mutual respect, and a love that shaped both their lives in immeasurable ways. We all will forever cherish the way she mothered everyone with tenderness and strength. Her loved ones will miss her presence, the unmistakable sound of her laughter, the comfort of her spirit, and the warmth she carried into every room. Joujou leaves a legacy of love that will continue to nourish the many lives she touched. Though her absence leaves a profound emptiness, her memory remains a feast of joy, generosity, and beauty-one that will never fade.
