Ginger Pat Sheppard

FORT WORTH - Ginger Pat Sheppard, born on November 3, 1947, passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 76 years old.
Memorial Service: 2:30 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024, in Live Oak Chapel at Greenwood, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107; with a visitation one hour prior starting at 1:30 p.m.
Ginger grew up in White Settlement, Texas and attended C.F. Brewer High School, "class of 1966". She was in the marching band as a majorette. In her early years of life, she enjoyed barrel racing with her beloved horse, Red Lady. She also liked taking trips up to Winstar to try and bring home some big wins. Every now and then she would sing some karaoke with friends.
Ginger was funny, loving and would let you know what she thought; whether you asked or not. You can't forget about all her furry friends that she rescued from the neighborhood that she took care of. She worked for the Everman Corporation and Fort Worth Club, where she was the HR lead for payroll and insurance for both companies. Ginger had been married and divorced twice.
Ginger Pat Sheppard was preceded in death by her father, Bill Sheppard; mother, Pattie Ruth Sheppard; and brother-in-law, Gary Lewis.
She is survived by her sister, Jennilu Lewis; niece, DeeAnn West and her husband, Bruce West; grand-nieces, Heather King, Malyssa Wentz and her husband, Josh, Cheyenne Hoover and her husband, John David Hoover II; grand-nephew, Damon West; great-grand-nieces, Samantha Rose Cargil, Julia Ann Hoover, and Dakota Lynn Hoover; and great-grand-nephews, Michael Jaydean Helgerson and John David Hoover III. She is also survived by many friends.
