Gisela Arrow, 81 of West Middlesex, PA, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 4pm in Kadima at New Wilmington of an extended illness. She was born in Mannheim, Germany on August 15, 1943 to Fritz and Hedwig (Sproll) Thummernicht. Gisela graduated from Mannheim High School in Germany, Mercer County Vo-tech and attended accounting classes at Penn State Shenango for 2 years. She was a Corporate Auditore for Fisher Big Wheel for 14 years and then worked in the office for Neshannock School District for 32 years. Gisela was a member of Lawrence County ABWA and was selected as Woman of Year in 2000. She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach and casinos. Gisela is survived by her husband, Floyd Arrow, whom she married March 7, 1992 and he survives at home. Also surviving are her sons, Michael Shaffer and his companion Jennifer of Hermitage and Christopher Shaffer and his wife Lisa of N.Y. Two step children, Gloria Kennedy and her husband Scott of New Castle and Rick Arrow and his wife Robin of Houston, TX. Her grandchildren; Olivia, Austin, Grace and Brady Shaffer and Brooke Kocher and her husband Kevin. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Evelyn Gross.
