Age 85, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away July 22, 2025. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Joe will always be remembered for his dedication to family, always putting their needs above his own.
He was born on April 27, 1940 in Siderno Marina, Italy. Joe grew up the son of Cosimo and Immaculata Piscioneri. He was brother to 6 sisters and 5 brothers. On November 14, 1964, Joe married Dolores Marano, they recently celebrated 60 years of marriage. Joe is survived by his wife Dolores, two daughters, Lisa (Eric) Hess, Dina Piscioneri Collins, his grandchildren, Alexandra (Neal) McQuaid, AJ Collins, Anthony Collins and two great grandchildren James and Simon McQuaid, brother Tony (Mary) Piscioneri, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and Family will be received at William F. Gross Funeral Home, Ltd. 11735 Frankstown Rd. (at Rodi Rd.), Penn Hills on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 1-3 and 4-7 p.m. Funeral Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish St. Susanna Church, 200 Stotler Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15235 at 10 a.m.
