Giuseppina (Nonna) Minicozzi was a loving woman born in San Bartolomeo In Galdo, Italy. She was as beautiful as her name sounded, and she married the love of her life Francesco Minicozzi on January 19th, 1953 in Italy. Giuseppina was graced with 2 beautiful daughters Adelina (Adele) and Carmelina (Carm). They moved from San Bartolomeo to Venezuela where her husband, Francesco, set the family up for their final move to the United States, in lovely Millburn, New Jersey.
Giuseppina and her family settled in Millburn in 1971 and raised their beautiful children and grandchildren on 28 Blaine Street, where we all had so many amazing Italian home-cooked meals. The house on the block where EVERYONE was welcome, and Giuseppina always wore that smile proudly.
Giuseppina moved in with her daughter, Carmelina, son-in-law Steve, and grandson Steven in 2000, where she lived until her final days. She is a Breast Cancer and Dementia Survivor, and a fighter all the way until God took her home on December 20th, 2022. She loved cooking for her family, speaking Italian to her grandchildren: Stefania Zangari, Peter Zangari Jr., Francesca Circelli, and Steven Dombrowski, and singing to her adorable Great Grandsons: Vincenzo Pasquale Zangari and Luca Valentino Zangari.
