Gladis Lehman

1932 - 2026

Gladis Ellen Rouch Lehman - age 93 -left her earthly home on January 23, 2026. Now she is in her heavenly home with her husband Rev. Clyde B. Lehman. Gladis was a long-time resident of Friendship North. While there, she was "Queen" of two separate Red Hat Clubs. She was a member of Oak Grove Church of the Brethren and as a minister's wife, she was active in the Church of the Brethren, serving as secretary of the Retired Ministers Group in Roanoke for many years. Gladis loved hats, jewelry, succulents plants and her family. Gladis is preceded in death by her Husband Clyde B Lehman, her Parents: Noble J and Dorothy Rouch, Parents in-law Carl and Mary Lehman, Sisters Flora Williams, Dorothymae Groves, Brother - John Rouch, Brothers-in-Law – Jack Bormouth, Liew Williams, Harold Groves, Reuban Rullan, Son-in-law Jesse Seaman and Grandson Kyle Harmon. Gladis was survived by Sisters Susie Bormouth, Norma (Al) Harman, Linda Rullan and Sister-in-law Rosemary Rouch Pletcher. Left to cherish her memory are her 4 children: Gloria (Mark) Harmon, C. Ben (Helen) Lehman, Gae (Jaymes) Seaman, Chris B. (Jennifer) Lehman, her grandchildren: Julie Ann (Norman) Pullen, Benjamin (A.J.) Harmon, Brian (Brooke) Harmon, Amy (Matt) Combs, Davye (Anna Maria) Lee, Mary Beth Lehman, Clint (Gena) Lehman, Nicole (Rich) Luey, Josh (Sarah) Seaman, Candy (Chad) Anderson, Calvin (Brandon) Lehman, Kylie Lehman, Caleb Lehman, Kloie Lehman, 24 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great granddaughters and many beloved nieces and nephews. Gladis also leaves many special and beloved friends from the Red Hatters, from the Friendship North community, and from the Church of the Brethren
