Gladys Ann Achee

Gladys Ann Achee, a lifelong resident of Mandeville, LA, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024. She was born in Bogalusa, LA on February 8, 1946.
She is survived by her daughters, Tina Sharp and Angela Griffith; her grandchildren, Amanda Magee, Justin Rainey, Brooke Vicknair, Blake Griffith, Jodie Rainey, Shelly Holcombe and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Hubert Strain and Yvonne Weyermann, and wonderful lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Achee; her parents Dorothy Walters Strain and Albert Strain, Sr.; and siblings, Albert Strain and John Strain.
Gladys worked as a housekeeper. She was a devoted friend and a great lover of animals.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial services at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington LA 70433 on November 14, 2024, at 1:00 PM with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.
