Gladys Blum

Gladys A. Blum passed away surrounded by family on May 19, 2022. She was 83 years old. Gladys will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Robert, of 64 years; her two sons, Robert J. Blum Jr., and his wife Loretta; and Christopher Blum, and his wife Karen; and her three grandchildren, Michelle, Brittany, and Alexandra. Gladys is predeceased by her brother, Frank Picarella. Gladys was a Philadelphia girl through and through. Born and raised in the City of Brotherly Love, she lived in the Greater Philadelphia Area her entire life. Gladys worked as a receptionist for many years at the Hatboro YMCA, REMAX Realtors and Upper Dublin Township, and was most definitely a plus for those businesses since she greeted everyone with gusto and warmth (it's all right there at the start of her name). She was indeed an outgoing person who loved to work with people and made friends easily. Gladys was especially proud of her three granddaughters, who were "her angels." Family and friends are invited to Gladys's Life Celebration on May 31, 2022, from 10:00AM – 10:30AM, followed by a funeral mass at 10:30AM, at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison, PA, 18929. Interment to be private. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.
