Gladys Mae Dawson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Gladys Mae Dawson. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 12:00 Noon in the Sanctuary of Houston Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, located at 603 Highway 96, Bonaire, Georgia 31005. The Rev. Dr. Willie L. Batts, Jr., is the Pastor. The Rev. Keith Milton, Pastor of the Midway Missionary Baptist Church of Ocilla, Georgia will deliver the Eulogy. Interment will follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, located at 720 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: six daughters, Patricia (Rudolph) Satcher, Priscilla (Jorge) Vassell, Teresa (Bobby) Chester, Kimberly (John) Holden, Samantha (William) Young, and Illean (Edward) Wiggins, six grandchildren, Taylor Satcher, Jaden Holden, Trey Vassell, Jayla Holden, Lindsey Young, and Lauryn Young, a brother, Rev. Eddie (Gloria) Durham, two sisters-in-law, Johnnie Mae Washington and Eileen Nickels, a devoted nephew and niece, Bob Durham, Jr., and Angela (Samuel) Brooks, two devoted friends, James (Ida) Porter, a devoted cousin, Robert Dawson, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
