Gladys is survived by her two daughters, Damaris and Irina, as well as her grandchildren, Ashlee, Tommy, and Isaiah, and her great-grandchildren Jaylanii, Noah, Aliyana, and Neela. She is also survived by her brother Bautista and her sister Luz.
Gladys, known to her family simply as Mamá, was fiercely independent, hardworking, and devoted to her family. She had endless space in her heart for all those in her life and always knew how to make someone laugh. She was the soul of the household and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 4 to 8 pm and Thursday, July 10th, from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Casey and Rios Funeral Home at 4540 W Diversey Ave, Chicago, IL.
Internment at Mount Olive Cemetery.
