Gladys H Olson

Gladys Hortense Olson, age 83, originally from Sarles, ND; but lived in St. Louis Park, Maple Grove, Motley, Osseo, and most recently resided at Parmly on Lake in Chisago City, MN.
She worked for over 20 years at Control Data and was an active member of the Women's Auxiliary for the American Legion.
She was a strong, determined, and sometimes stubborn woman full of life. She was fashionable and lovable. We will all miss her.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Aldon E. Olson, father Boniface Schuler, mother, Irene Gardner Schuler Yakish, stepfather John Charles (Jack) Yakish, brothers, Peter and Donald Schuler, sister Lois Mikkelsen, step-brother John Yakish, nieces, Lisa Schuler and Angel Yakish, and nephew Kelly Mikkelsen.
Survived by her daughters, Cynthia (David) Robb and Debra (Jeff) Cardinal; sons, Terry Olson and Douglas Olson; and daughter Julie Olson; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; step-brother Joseph (Connie) Yakish; as well as many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

A service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, June 2, 2023 at the Camp Ripley Chapel.
Inurnment will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 2, 2023 at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery at Little Falls.
