Gladys Stewart Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev Phillip Stewart officiating and Todd McLaughlin offering a eulogy. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by her daughters, Judy Hall and Joan McLaughlin; son, Gene Stewart; grandchildren, Patricia Kelley (Pat), Todd McLaughlin (Vicky), Keith Hall, Cynthia Hymer, Patrick Stewart, Jason McLaughlin (Tamara), Phillip Stewart (Emily), and Heather Calfee (Tim); great grandchildren, Matthew Kelley (Holly), Jacob Kelley, Candi Marousky, Victoria McLaughlin, Marissa Pitts (Lane), Jadon McLaughlin, Allison French, Thomas French, Connor Calfee (Kelli), Luke Calfee, William Stewart, Clinton Stewart (Shelby), John David Stewart, and Vanessa Stewart; 7 great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild on the way; sisters-in-law, Vera Sisco and Lila Stewart; and host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Stewart; sons-in-law, Hershel Hall and Roy McLaughlin; daughter-in-law, Linda Stewart; siblings, Alma Pace, Velma Chrisman, Rayford Sisco, and Bennie Sisco; and parents, Ben & Virgie Mae Edmonds Sisco.
