Gladys Wix Obituary
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from Edens Family Cemetery in Hampstead at 2:00 pm. Rev. Kelly Wheat-Rivers will be Officiating.
Survivors include her daughter; Donna Morton of the home, sons; Claude Haywood Merritt, Jr. (Teresa), James Kenneth Merritt (Jean) both of Jacksonville and Tony Howard Merritt of Mt. Airy. Eleven grandchildren, 13 Great grandchildren, 2 Great Great grandchildren, brothers George Edens (Sally) of Surf City, Bobby Edens of Hampstead and sister; Lois Dixon (Carl) of Wilmington.
