Glen Andrew ("Andy") Cecchini, beloved son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on April 23, 1985 to Glen Charles Cecchini and Phyllis Joyner Cecchini, Andy had boundless energy, an infectious smile, and a kindness that touched everyone he met.
Andy's warmth and cheerfulness were evident from the moment he entered the world. He was truly one of a kind. His laughter, silliness, and generous spirit brought light and comfort to those around him. Andy always saw the best in people and encouraged others to do the same, leaving a legacy of compassion and optimism.
Andy was preceded in death by his father, Glen Charles Cecchini, and his brother-in-law, Dr. Paul R. Greenlaw. He is survived by his son, Charlie Cecchini; his mother, Phyllis Cecchini; his sister Heather Greenlaw and her children Hadley and Hayden; his sister Brooke Rouse, her husband Taylor and daughter Mary Emerson; and his uncles, aunts, and their families.
Andy will be remembered for his humor, his unwavering love for family and friends, his kind soul, and the joy he brought to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed more than words can ever express.
A celebration of Andy's life will be held on November 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sandy Cross United Methodist Church in Nashville, North Carolina. A private graveside service will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to his son Charlie's educational fund. Donations may be mailed to Taylor Financial Strategies at 4020 Capital Drive,Rocky Mount, North Carolina 27804, and should be made payable to CollegeAmerica with the memo "Charlie Cecchini 529 plan".
