Glen Allen Hope, age 73, of Ledbetter, a devoted carpenter and cherished family man, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 23, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on August 4, 1951, in Oxford, MS, Glen lived a life filled with passion and dedication to both his craft and family.

Glen's career as a carpenter was not just a job; it was a testament to his hard work and commitment. He took great pride in his craft, creating beautiful works that brought joy and functionality to many homes. His skill and attention to detail earned him the respect of his peers and clients alike.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Glen was deeply invested in his family. He is survived by his beloved spouse, Mona Hope of Ledbetter, his daughters, Regina Kearney (Rick) of Olmstead, IL, and Angie Rhodes (Keith) of Benton, KY and his stepson, Luke Weist (Erin) of Murfreesboro, TN. Glen is also survived by his brothers, John Hope (Lisa) of Heber Springs, AR, Jim Hope (Kelly) of MS, and his sisters, Barbara Goss and Dorothy Henry, both of MS. He was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Zachery Roberts, Zalen Ingram, Jaylen Weist, Montana Kearney, Brayden Kearney, and Chloe Rhodes, who brought immense joy to his life.

Glen cherished the simple pleasures of life, having a deep love for horses and animals. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and found great happiness in hunting and fishing. His hobbies reflected his adventurous spirit and love for the great outdoors. A member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Ledbetter, Glen maintained a strong faith that enriched his life and strengthened his bonds with others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Geneva Hope, and his sisters, Sue Vaught and Becky Tedford.

Glen’s proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly his family, and his legacy will live on through them. His absence will be profoundly felt, but the love and memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, whose life was a beautiful example of devotion and joy.
