I remember Doug from days riding the school bus. He lived on what was commonly known as "Church House Hill". The road was curvy and steep. We sometimes had to move to the other side of the bus to make it up the gravel road. He was a kind young child and became a kind man. He married my cousin, Barbara Hamm Lay. I love them both. Time gets away from us sometimes. May God bless and keep those left behind. He will be missed by all of us.
