Glen Lunn, age 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30th, in Iron River, Michigan.

Glen was born on January 24th, 1938, to his loving parents Harry and Hazel (Stolberg) Lunn. He was later joined by his younger sister, Elaine. A lifelong resident of Stambaugh, Michigan, Glen graduated from Stambaugh High School with the Class of 1957.

He married the former Donna Dinco, and together they raised two children, Charles "Chucky" and Sally Lunn. Glen proudly served as a reservist in the National Guard for 22 years and worked for the West Iron County School System as a bus driver for over three decades. He was known for his reliability and the steady presence he provided to generations of students.

Glen had a passion-some would lovingly call it an obsession-for antique car restoration. His garage was his sanctuary, always filled with tools, parts, and the familiar sight of whatever project he was tinkering with. In his later years, he enjoyed attending car shows, talking cars with friends, and spending time with his loved ones.

Glen is survived by his two children: Charles "Chucky" Lunn of Iron River, Michigan, and Sally (Andy) Manitta, also of Iron River. He leaves behind his grandchildren: Ashley (Chris) Russell of Jupiter, Florida; Amanda Bett of Iron River, Michigan; Evan Hopkins (Audrey) of Niles, Illinois; Lexy (Nate) Skousen of Kailua, Hawaii; Trey (Courtney) Manitta of Ironwood, Michigan; and Brock (Sarah) Hopkins of Appleton, Wisconsin. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Austin, Miley, Grace, Ella, Charley, Alice, Will, Cal, and Lucas—along with many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Some of his great-grandchildren affectionately referred to him as the "Greatest Grandpa," a title he cherished.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Elaine.

He was happiest when he had cars to work on or when he was listening to his beloved Doo-Wop music. He also treasured time spent at his childhood home on Kofmehl Road, where he resided in recent years with his daughter and son-in-law.

Glen's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to his caretaker and friend, Bobbi, and to the entire staff at the Iron River Care Center for their kindness and support. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
