Glen A. Safreed

Glen A. Safreed, 53, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, after a rough battle with cancer. He was born on December 20, 1968, in Canton. He was an amazing husband, father, and papa. Glen loved his family and believed that family should always stick together no matter what. He loved painting, drawing animation, anything to do with art. He always looked up to the famous artists, Bob Ross, and Frank Franzetta. He loved joking around with his children and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Safreed, sister, Susan McClaskey and brother-in-law, Dan Williamson.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy (Parsons) Safreed with whom he shared 33 years of marriage; children, Sarah (Will) Safreed, Alan Safreed, Frank (Amber) Safreed, and Danielle (Roger) Safreed; grandchildren, Nevaeh Zelker, Thomas Zelker, Kai Soundz, Aziah Soundz, Frankie Safreed Jr., Conner Safreed, Jadyn Kintz, and Carter Kintz; mother, Elsie Safreed, siblings, Stephanie Williamson, Kathy (Dan) Miller, Terri (George) Reed, David (Kim) Safreed, Steve (Julie) Safreed, and brother-in-law, Tom McClaskey. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many relatives and close friends.
The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. The Celebration of Glen's life will be held at 4 p.m. Messages of comfort and support may be sent to the family at www.paquelet.com.
