Glen (Alan) Stalvey, 72, of Lakeland, Florida went home to be with Jesus November 18, 2025, in Deposit, NY.
He was predeceased by his son Alandrew Stalvey, Granddaughter Annabelle Ganier, Mother Eula Stalvey, Father Glen Stalvey, sister Carolyn Benton, brother Roger Stalvey, sister Lorrel Stalvey, and son-in-law Robert Ganier.
Alan is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Bessie P. Nixon Stalvey; children Rebecca King, Hope (Brad) Fischer, Tiffiany (Oscar) Brock, Elizabeth (Joshua) Johnson, and Jonathan (Heather) Stalvey; grandchildren Caitlin, Emily, Lilly, Chloe, Elijah, Asher, Ransome, Fern, Logan, Breanna, David, Austin, Olivia, Caleb, Colby, Liam, Troy, and Jada.
Alan was devoted and loving husband, selfless and patient father, grandfather, and uncle. Alan was an Ordained Minister, avid deer hunter, and fisherman. He also loved gardening, wrangling alligators, traveling, camping, and making memories with his family. Alan worked as a Large Dragline Operator for over 40 years.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 1pm at North Lakeland Baptist Church, 306 Wilder Road, Lakeland, FL, 33809.
