On February 24, 2025, Glen Ryland Welch passed away surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Sylvia May Welch; devoted father of Sandra Kay Hall, Glen Lee Welch Sr., Gary Dean Welch, Eugene Bruce Welch, and Patricia Lynn Welch; cherished grandfather of Anexa Ohmart, Misty Slemaker, Corrina Steck, Layna Welch, Ryland Clegg, Glen Welch Jr., Brooke Wheeler, Sara Bull, Gary Stewart, and Alexa Welch; loving great-grandfather of Ashley Hall, CJ Buck, Taylor Buck, Emily Brown, Amanda Zepeda, Laura Zepeda, Jaylin Welch, Glen Dean Welch, and Londyn Valenti; dear brother of Donna Jean Heisterman. Glen was preceded in death by nine siblings. Also survived by a host of other loving family members and friends.
Friends may call at the family-owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A., 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex, Maryland 21221, on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 9:30 AM. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
