Beloved husband of the late Zula Alt; Devoted father of Hans Dieter Reszel and his late wife Rosalie, Sharon Alt, and Mary Ann Alt and her husband Wayne; Cherished grandfather of Torben Reszel and his wife Daniela, Jeffery Hilker and his wife Tracy, Melissa Weyant, Bridget Hilker, and Jeri Anderson and her husband Larry; Dear great-grandfather Nicholas Hendon Jr., Isaac Hilker, Myla Satterfield, Kai Satterfield, Liam Anderson, Kevin Reszel, Tanja Reszel, Emmily Reszel and Paul Reszel; Loving brother of Maryann Miller. He is pre deceased by his parents Edna and Andy Alt and his siblings Kermit, Edith, Ora, Allen, Ruth, Minnie, Charles, Walter, James, Jerlie, and Berlie.
Friends may call at the family-owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex, Maryland 21221, on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
