Sharonlee Smith

Sharonlee Smith, born June 7, 1958, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on March 8, 2026. She was the devoted wife of Bernard Smith, with whom she shared 50 wonderful years of marriage.

She is survived by her loving mother, Betty Stickline; her brother, Michael Streeter and his wife Tammy; and her sister, Sheila Streeter. Sharon was a proud and loving mother to Erin and her husband Herbie, Joey and his wife Jessica, Diane and her husband Tim, and Ryan and his wife Meghan

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Streeter.

Sharonlee was also the cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren, Nathan, Hailey, Kyle, Timmy, Trey, Laila, Nolan and Bernard, and the proud great-grandmother of four great-grandchildren, Grayson, Arzah, Gunnar and Hayden all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest happiness came from spending time with her family. She loved laughing, making memories together, and sharing life’s simple moments. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved “doggies” and treasured the friendships she built over the years.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A memorial gathering will be held at the family-owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A., 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex, Maryland 21221, on Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, where a service will be held at 10:00 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sharonlee's name to Luna's House, P.O. Box 802, Abingdon, Maryland 21009, or lunashouse.org.
