Glenda Emerson Obituary
Glenda Rena Emerson, 42, of Siler City, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025. She was born in Guilford County on October 16, 1982 to Christopher H. Smith and Glenda S. Smith. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She loved her children, which were her world. She loved spending her time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Davis. She is survived by her parents, Christopher H. Smith and Glenda S. Smith; daughters, Destiny Emerson, Lilly Davis, Annie Davis and Ruby Davis; sisters, Angel Pearce (Joe Pearce), Gina Emerson (KC Jordan) and Crystal Smith (Ace Edwards); numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:50 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Mt. Vernon Springs Presbyterian Church followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jimmy Coore presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
