Glenda Farrow (née Wilkinson), 81, of Farmington, Missouri, passed away on September 29, 2025 at Presbyterian Manor. She was born to Don and Ruth (Shelton) Wilkinson in Fredericktown, Missouri, Glenda grew up in St. Louis and fondly recalled driving past the Gateway Arch as it was being built. After graduating high school, she attended beauty school and went on to become a beautician, a profession she loved and excelled in for more than 40 years. She eventually opened her own salon, Glenda’s Hair Fashions, where she built lasting relationships and made countless people feel cared for and beautiful.

Glenda was a woman of many talents and passions. She tended vibrant gardens, enjoyed arranging flowers, and filled her home with beauty and hospitality. Her home on Merriweather Street in Cape Girardeau—where she and her late husband, Ron Farrow, raised their family—was often the center of gatherings, laughter, and love. She was also an artist at heart, with a gift for design, crafting, and quilting.

Above all, Glenda treasured her family. She is survived by her three children: Kristina Lynn Farrow; Donna Burke, and her children Elijah, Ethan, and Obadiah; and Ron Farrow II and his wife Brandi, along with their children Aiden and Sophie. She was a devoted grandmother, always proud of and deeply connected to her grandchildren.

Glenda was a Christian with a strong faith in God. Her optimism, warmth, and radiant smile touched everyone who knew her. She had a vision for family and for life, and through both her career and the home she built, she made those dreams a reality. She will be remembered with love and cherished always by her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 - 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Discover Life Church, 254 S Silver Springs Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63703.
