Glenda Mae Holland, 85, of Mooresville, was relieved of her dementia and went home to Heaven to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Franciscan Health Hospital in Mooresville.  She was born on November 19, 1938 in Indianapolis to the late Neal Vincent and Virginia (Scoville) Vincent.

She married the love of her life, Robert William Holland, when she was just forteen years old on April 8, 1953.  Robert preceded her in passing on October 15, 2023.  She worked as an assembly line worker at Diamond Chain.  She was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker.  She took great pride in caring for her family.  Of Christian faith, she was a member of the Springhill Christian Center in Mooresville.

She enjoyed crafting, knitting, sewing, crocheting, canning, gardening, and cooking.  Escaping the cold Indiana winters, she and her husband spent winters at their Florida home for nearly twenty years.  They also enjoyed other travels during their retirement.

She leaves behind her loving family and friends including her daughter, Debbie (husband, Roger) Brown of Mooresville; sons, Robert Holland Jr. “Butch” of Cloverdale and Steve (wife, Tami) Holland of Mooresville; brother, Darrell (wife, Anna Sue) Vincent of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Bobbie Jo, Brandi, Allisha, and Trey; great grandchildren, Brilee, Ella, Braeden, Carson, Jace, Kyson, Makenna, Gabe, Maddi, Jackson, Hailey, and Lilly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Neal and Virginia; husband, Robert Holland; and sister, Carolyn Morgan.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the Springhill Christian Center in Mooresville.  Glenda’s Life Celebration® Service will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 pm at the church.  She will be laid to rest alongside her late husband, Robert, in White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
