Glenda McDaniel

Mrs. Glenda Carol Hosey McDaniel, age 76, of LaGrange, passed away at home surrounded by her family on April 28, 2023, winning her battle with ALS. Mrs. McDaniel was born on October 14, 1946 in LaGrange to the late Warner Hosey and Hazel Denney Hosey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Paul McDaniel, brothers, Warner Hosey, Jr. and Clifford Hosey, sister, Betty Sue Thomas, daughter-in-law, Polly Andrews and son-in-law, Monty Chase.
In addition to caring for the needs of her family, Mrs. McDaniel retired from the West Georgia Medical Center as an L.P.N. and was a long-time, faithful member of the Gray Hill Church of God. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her children, Kenneth Andrews, Karen Chase, Kevin Andrews (Sandy) and Kerrie Richardson (Joel); brothers, Phillip Hosey (Gail) and Bobby Hosey; grandchildren, Brandon Andrews (Tabitha), Travis Andrews, Christopher Chase (Megan), Elizabeth Daniel (Ricky), Caldon Andrews, Gracie Andrews, Haven Folsom (Christopher) and Jillian Waldroup; thirteen great-grandchildren; beloved caregiver, Charity Lashely; extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel with Pastor David Cross officiating. Interment will follow at Meadoway Gardens. Family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
